Sultanas, dried fruit and brown sugar galore. Some hints of bananas. Vanilla. Oak in the middle then finishes on the dried fruit theme. Long finish with sweet fruit, smoke, dying on cocoa and a wee bitter edge.

We have over 300 whiskies and this list is just some of the whiskies available.
Highland Park – St Magnus
Relatively dry on the gently smoked palate. water releases more smoke and sweet heather notes. Smoke, black pepper, orange and spicy oak in the finish.
Highland Park – Lunar
Rich, full flavour; honey and peat. Soft, round and long finish.
Quote from www.liquorsnob.com;
So we just found out that the good folks over at Highland Park whisky have released a lunar whisky. At first we hoped that meant it was distilled on the moon, but then we realised that would make for a pretty high price tag – plus its probably kind of tough to find peat and barley up there. Then we realised the lunar thing reffered to the cycles of the moon waxing and waning and whatnot, we suppose. All we can tell you is if we drink enough whisky we’ve been known to howl at that big bright bastard floating in the sky.
Highland Park – Hjarta
Rich flavour delivery, mouth coating silky vanilla sweetness and hints of coconut converging in an exquisite balance of sweet, heather peat smokiness. Long gentle smoky finish.
Highland Park – Earl Magnus
The palate is gutsy and smoky, with spicy vanilla and milk chocolate notes. Medium length in the finish, with lots of lively spice.
Highland Park – 1998 Duty Free
The vanilla and honey sweetness developed from a dozen years in American oak is perfectly balanced with the emergence of the aromatic peat smoke. Sweet notes of cinnamon and cashew nuts emerge. Sweet finish with medium lingering spice and smoke.
Highland Park – Bicenntenary 1977
Bottle No. 5256. Minty. Creamy. Freshly peeled satsumas. Dark sherry flavours. Very bitter black chocolate. Astonishing complexity and length.
Highland Park – 1958
Limited edition of only 665 bottles. Sultanas, lemons, vanilla, butterscotch, toasted almonds. Very restrained sweetness. Long and soothing finish. Late hint of spicy, heathery smoke.
Highland Park – Ambassadors cask 4 No. 413/A
Palate sweet and smooth in the first few seconds, giving way to the heat of cask strength aromatic peat followed by delightful candied fruit to make your mouth water. This slowly retreats to reveal the dry whisky buried within.
Highland Park – Ambassadors cask No. 43
An initial sweet sherry nose opens up to reveal toffee and candied fruits. The whisky has a lovely sweet palate leading to a smoky fruit character and long buttery finish.
